Faint Indeterminacy is an ongoing investigation into the way degraded images delay the immediacy of perceptual analysis. This project explores how conflating and reducing the visibility of subject matter in found photographs activates the agency of the viewer by encouraging them to devise an understanding or narrative out of vague or indistinguishable photo data.
